Thuli Phongolo Finally Addresses Dating Rumors with DJ Maphorisa & Mr JazziQ:
Nobody has had a more entertaining love life in the public eye in 2021 more than Thuli Phongolo. And now, she has come forward to ask fans to stop speculating about her romantic partners.
She recently took to Twitter to tell off those who always assume she is dating one man or another. She asked her fans and followers whether they intend to continue concluding that she is in a relationship with every man who posts pictures or videos with her.
It makes total sense that she would be exasperated at this point. Is it because she is photogenic and always photographs well? I mean, she has never had her face card decline, we all know this. Though it is probably because she seems to have chemistry with everybody she is photographed with.
We understand why it can get annoying to have to field the questions every time she attends an event. Now, Thuli is asking people to choose one person and tell her who she is allegedly dating, because she couldn’t possibly be dating everybody at once.
To understand the full scope of Thuli’s exasperation, we can take a walk down memory lane and take a look at all the relationships she has been suspected of being in this year.
First, Mzansi thought she was dating former president Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane Zuma. It all started when she was vacationing in Dubai, and a figure was spotted in her pictures that looked like Duduzane.
Zuma now lives in Dubai, and everyone assumed they were seeing each other after putting two and two together, even though he is married. But Duduzane went on Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he addressed the rumours.
Shortly after, Thuli was tied to DJ Maphorisa after a video emerged of them looking cozy on a night out. From the video, one could tell that Phori was focused on taking care of her, and they looked very cute together.
Although Madumane never came forth to set the record straight on this alleged relationship, Thuli posted later saying she was not dating him. But this was not the end of her public “relationships”, as she was soon tied to Mr JazziQ after he posted pictures of them together.
Social media users immediately went online to express their pity for Phori after, according to them, Thuli left him for Mr JazziQ. By this point, Thuli was getting tired of defending her relationship status, as she once again came forth to reiterate that she was single.
Well, shortly after, Mzansi concluded that she had come out as gay when she shared a picture of herself in a rainbow t-shirt.
While we are not entirely certain who Thuli meant this time when she complained about being tied to multiple people, we can understand why she is exhausted. All of these people in the span of a year, especially when she admitted to being with none of them! That would get tiring for everyone.
She has spoken in the past about how hard it is to find Mr Right in Mzansi, and about being sick of relationship drama. At this point, we hope she has a better love life next year.
